Telemarketing is reaching epidemic proportions in India. Its very annoying.


ABN AMRO (bank) is one persistent one. They call me incredibly frequently trying to get me to sign up for their credit card. Their call center is in Delhi and I rarely get calls from Delhi so I know when I get a call from them. Here's how a recent call went:

Me (picking up the phone): Hello, is this ABN AMRO
Other side: Yes Sir
Me: If this is about a credit card, I don't want one thank you.
Other side: Okay thank you sir
Hang up
